Antone Saltvick
Principal Partner
Antone is a native of Gig Harbor and has been in the insurance industry for over 11 years. He a graduate of Saint Martin's University where he earned his bachelor's degree in business management and played college baseball as a pitcher during his time there.
He specializes in business insurance with a focus on construction and real estate investors. He also does personal insurance and employee benefits for businesses. Antone started as an agent with Carlson & Associates back in 2011 and is now a Principal Partner in the agency. He prides himself on educating his clients, solving complex issues, and continuing his education as an insurance professional.
Antone currently lives in Gig Harbor with his wife Lyndsey and their son Carson. In his spare time he enjoys golfing, coaching baseball, camping, snowboarding, or traveling around the pacific northwest with his family in their camper.

Kirsten Conrad
Principal Partner
Kirsten Conrad brings over 20 years of experience in the Insurance Industry, with a focus on Employee Benefits. A native of Tacoma, WA., Kirsten earned her Bachelor’s in Finance and Human Resource Management from Gonzaga University. Kirsten worked in the Technology Industry before transitioning to the Insurance Industry in 2002. She built a large independent agency focusing on helping businesses design and implement employee benefit programs. She is currently a Principal Partner and wants to continue to provide her clients with expanded lines of coverages.
Kirsten has been married to her husband Isaac since 2000. They have three beautiful children, Ella, Olivia, and Karder. In her spare time Kirsten enjoys her horses, working out, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Bettye Clark
Personal Lines Account Manager
Bettye started at Carlson & Associates in 2019. Bettye is in charge of coordinating day to day support of our personal insurance customers as well as helping to support our commercial clients. She's returned to the industry after several years of corporate staffing. Bettye has a BS degree in Organizational Management from Wilberforce University.

Kevin Owens
Independent Agent
Kevin has been an agent at Carlson & Associates since 2014. Since joining the team he has worked on personal lines, business insurance, and employee benefits. He was a 4 year collegiate athlete at Everett Community College, and Augusta State as a baseball player.
Kevin has coached baseball in the local community for the past 10 years. He is a Gig Harbor native and lives locally with his two sons Hudson and Wes.

Tom Jolley

Tom has been an agent with Carlson & Associates since 2008. He is a specialist in all personal lines of insurance including medicare health plans, home insurance, auto insurance, and any specialty lines of insurance. Tom will take the time to understand your specific insurance needs. He prides himself on taking a hands on approach with his clients. He will meet in person at our office and also offers "house calls".

Betsy Hytinen

Betsy has over 10 years in the insurance industry and has been with Carlson & Associates since 2013. She is located in Silverdale and works with clients on their personal insurance, business insurance, and employee benefits. Betsy previously worked for American Family but decided to come over to Carlson & Associates to be able to offer choice to her clients as well as having the opportunity to spend more time with her family.
Betsy and her husband Jon have three sons - Josh, Nick, and Matt. The family has two beloved dogs, Eddie and Toby who love to keep Betsy company while she works by hanging out under her desk. She loves to "glamp" and spend time with her close friends around a fire pit.

Amy joined Carlson & Associates in 2018. Transitioning from a large international company to Carlson & Associates, Amy is passionate about providing a high level of personalized customer service. With 10 years of experience in the Construction and Safety industries, Amy specializes in Construction and Wholesale Distribution but also enjoys working with Farms and Small Group Employee Benefits.

Carolyn Kulp

Carolyn is new to Carlson & Associates this year. With over 18 years of experience in the mortgage industry, she wanted to use her knowledge and customer service skills in the insurance industry as well. Carolyn has worked in the Gig Harbor community for the last 15 years and is excited to offer more services to her clients.
Carolyn and her husband live on Long Lake in Port Orchard with two special cowgirls, Arlie and Ashley. Most of their free time is spent at the barn practicing or traveling to rodeos and ropings around the Northwest. Stacey Coe brings over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. She takes great pride in educating clients about their insurance and helping them understand what they are paying for. Stacey specializes in commercial insurance with a concentration in construction and enjoys that specialty market.
Stacey is from Arkansas but has lived in the Gig Harbor area for over 30 years. In her free time, she enjoys riding her horses in the mountains. She has a passion for dogs and supports and foster dogs in local rescue.

Matt Hytinen
Personal Lines Customer Service Representative
Matt Hytinen joined Carlson & Associates in 2022 as customer service representative. He is from the Bremerton area and attended Klahowya High School and Olympic Community College. He is excited to start his career in insurance focusing on personal lines. Matt enjoys learning and sharing insurance knowledge. His mom has been with Carlson & Associates, and he has watched her develop her insurance career and wants to follow in her footsteps.

Larry Carlson
Founder
Larry has over 40 years experience in the insurance industry. He started his career as a Farmers Agent in California and moved up to Washington State as an Aflac Territory Manager. He opened Carlson & Associates in 2004.
Larry is an avid baseball fan and coached the Gig Harbor High School Varsity baseball team for many years and lead the Tides to a state Championship in 2017. Larry has since retired from the agency and lives in Oregon with his wife Colleen and his dog Rosie.
